Governance Layer and Rewards

Early backers of the Zeebu ecosystem play a crucial role in regulating processes and rewards within the ecosystem. Partners govern merchant and customer rewards percentages and business operations, changing the ecosystem policies with on-chain or off-chain voting and ensuring compliance with KYC/AML policies. Early backers receive governance rewards of up to 3% of the value of settled invoices for their essential contribution to platform governance.

These partners will receive governance rewards in perpetuity during the token vesting period. If early backers liquidate their tokens, they will lose the governance rights and will not be eligible for rewards. Early backer governance rewards will also be subject to change based on the decisions made by the group of entities comprising the governance layer.
